Hot Day

Blazing hot day spent running through the splash pad, where we kept cool and made new friends. I was proud to see Elliott share his water toys and ball with the other children without my coaching... think he understands that's his social advantage to making friends at the playground; either that or he just wanted a reason to gain a chocolate chip cookie treat. A few hours later we changed pace and headed to the mall for some A/C comfort and to shop for mommy, because I'm so excited to have lost enough weight to shop at R&W and H&M, woo hoo! Elliott was patient in the dressing rooms, but not so much in the store front, where he kept hiding in between the clothes racks giving me a little scare each time that he aw missing! Our date this evening was at Denise's swimming pool with Emma and Niyah, otherwise known as "the girls". Elliott's new water wings gave him confidence to tread water alone. Think he'll do well in his swimming lessons coming up soon. Fun day spent cooling off and playing with my sweet boy. He is so content and completely passed out :). Great success.
