Since Ellie wasn't going to sleep anytime soon, I placed him in the playpen as an attempt to wind him down. He was playing quietly for a bit and then all of a sudden I could see him planning something devilish. Sir Elliott piles a blanket on top of a toy, then very cautiously steps on top of the mountain he created.
There he was trying to get his foot over the playpen railing with one arm out for balance. I'm shocked at him attempting this escape right in front of me! Couldn't help but laugh ~ the smirk on his face made the moment that much more hilarious.
Guess this is a milestone, a devious one, never the less, a clever one to get my attention.
